At Village Missionary Movement, we are passionate about proclaiming the Good News of Jesus Christ and empowering communities in Malawi to experience transformation and holistic development. Our organization is built on a foundation of faith, compassion, empowerment, and partnership, and we are committed to demonstrating God's love and care to those in need. Malawi, located in the heart of Africa, is one of the poorest countries in the world, with many communities facing significant challenges such as poverty, hunger, disease, and lack of access to education and healthcare. At Village Missionary Movement, we believe that Jesus Christ is the answer to these challenges, and that through His love and power, we can bring hope, healing, and transformation to individuals and communities.

To see Malawi transformed by the power of the Gospel, where communities thrive in spiritual, economic, and social prosperity. We envision a future where every person has access to the love and message of Jesus Christ, and where local churches are empowered to lead and disciple their communities.
Our Mission
To empower communities through evangelism, discipleship, leadership training, economic empowerment, and support for orphans and vulnerable children. We believe that by demonstrating God's love and compassion, we can transform lives and communities, and we are committed to working alongside local leaders, mission teams, and organizations to achieve this goal.
As it is written in Matthew 28:19-20, "Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.
Through our holistic approach, we aim to address the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of individuals and communities, and to equip them with the skills, resources, and support they need to thrive. We believe that every person is created in the image of God, and that every person deserves to be treated with dignity and respect.

A Message from the Founder, Pastor James Zgambo
Dear brothers and sisters
I am thrilled to share with you the story of how Village Missionary Movement came to be. As a young boy growing up in Malawi, I was deeply moved by the poverty, suffering, and lack of hope that plagued our communities.
I remember walking through villages and seeing children begging for food, women struggling to care for their families, and men without jobs or purpose.
But amidst the darkness, I saw the light of Christ shining brightly. I experienced firsthand the transformative power of Jesus Christ in my own life, and I knew that He was the answer to the challenges facing our nation.
In 2010, I felt a call from God to start a ministry that would reach the unreached, empower the marginalized, and proclaim the Good News of Jesus Christ to all. I was just a young pastor with a big vision, but I knew that with God, all things are possible.
I began by preaching on the streets, sharing the Gospel with anyone who would listen. I visited villages, schools, and markets, proclaiming the message of hope and salvation. And as I did, I saw God begin to move in mighty ways
People were saved, healed, and delivered. Communities were transformed, and churches were planted. The vision of Village Missionary Movement was birthed - to see Malawi transformed by the power of the Gospel, where communities thrive in spiritual, economic, and social prosperity
Today, I am proud to say that our ministry has grown to reach thousands of people across Malawi and beyond. We have planted churches, trained leaders, empowered communities, and proclaimed the Gospel to the unreached.
But our work is not done. We still have so much to do, and we need your help. I invite you to join us in this vision, to partner with us, and to be part of the transformation of Malawi and the nations.

Our Core Values

We are purely a Christian organization with a believe that we are working for God in his field to support children who are reject by the community but loved by God.
We demonstrate God's love and compassion to those in need. (Micah 6:8)
We are all professionals in organizational leadership and management with our studies in Project Management, Organizational Leadership, Developmental Studies, Human Resources Management, and more.
Our team comprises of members who have the heart for children. We have all pledged allegiance to fighting for the freedom and rights of children especially on education, food, and shelter.
We see rejected and vulnerable children growing as though their parents still exist and achieve great things as well in their career lives. We believe that we are parents of all vulnerable and rejected children.
